N-iX is co-organizing IT Arena 2017, contributing to all the streams: Technology, Business, and Product.
The biggest international IT conference in Eastern Europe takes place in Lviv, Ukraine, during September 29 – October 1. It will bring together 2000+ IT devotees from more than 12 countries: top managers, software developers, designers, project managers, business analysts, investors, entrepreneurs, government officials etc.
N-iX has always supported the event, but this year the company will be involved as a co-organizer and will be responsible for the content. We plan to invite expert speakers from different industries and technology domains, as well as share our experience and knowledge.
Andrew Pavliv, N-iX CEO and Co-founder, points out:
“ N-iX has always tried to promote IT in Ukraine. We were among the founders of Lviv IT Cluster, we have participated in hundreds of events, contributed to the development of IT education and culture in the country. The transformative potential of the industry can’t be underestimated. Therefore, we are extremely proud to co-organize IT Arena this year. N-iX has grown significantly in recent years and we feel we can bring a lot of value to this great event.”
The IT industry in Ukraine is developing at a breakneck pace. We observe a constant increase in the number of IT professionals, companies, investments, new challenging projects, and its growing impact on the Ukrainian economy. As of 2016, the contribution of IT into GDP of Ukraine went up from 0.6 to 3.3% during the past 4 years, and it is expected to grow further. Ukraine has got all it takes to be at the forefront of the global IT thanks to its immense talent pool and high quality of services. Since 2014, IT Arena as well has almost tripled in size. The conference creates receptive atmosphere for networking, meeting business partners, generating and sharing transformative ideas.
Lviv IT Cluster CEO Stepan Veselovsky states:
“We have realized from the very beginning that IT Arena has a great impact on the local and state IT communities. The event is growing and developing every year along with the IT industry. We are extremely happy that our organizing team grows together with the event. This year N-iX became 5th organizing partner along with Lviv IT Cluster, Eleks, Startup Depot and LITS. IT Arena 2017 is changing its format, scaling up, so it is bound to impress the conference participants even more.”
Speaking sessions are traditionally divided into three streams: Technology, Business, and Product. Technology Stream will present such hot topics as data science and artificial intelligence, mobile and wearables, IoT, large scale systems, social networks, bioinformatics, smart robotics, autonomous vehicles, etc. Business Stream will address IT market trends, whereas, Product Stream will feature product development questions, business analysis and project management trends.
The lineup is still undergoing changes. Not all the gems have been revealed yet. IT Arena organizers take every effort to bring the most inspiring and influential speakers to the conference. Last year the speeches were given by Esther Dyson – one of the most influential women in IT, according to the New York Times, Anton and Irene – a Brooklyn based design duo, Alexandro Grabulov from Phillips, and Stephen Russo from IBM. This year the conference sessions will feature 40 keynote speakers from the globally renowned companies. So far, among the confirmed participants are Marvin Liao from 500 Startups, Julien Simon from Amazon Web Services and Sandy Diao from Indiegogo, and other big names.
The three-day event will also include panel discussions, a series of workshops and bootcamps and a tech expo where participants can see and test the most exciting new tech products. During a Startup Competition young entrepreneurs and startupers will present their ideas to investors and business angels. With its music and high-tech vibe, Futureland Festival will become an extravagant ending to IT Arena 2017.
As a co-organizer, N-iX is arranging a plenty of specialties for the conference beyond just presentations, so follow the announcements to stay updated!
