In addition to its regular routes, the company also provides special-needs transportation, field trip services, and charter bus rentals.

We provided our expertise in data modernization, cloud consulting, and AI to conduct multiple enterprise assessments and product discoveries. Together with our partner, we assessed over 135 client applications, created a single architecture vision for seamless software integration, and designed a comprehensive data governance framework. We also chose Amazon Bedrock for AI implementation as it offers a suite of pre-trained foundation models that simplify building and scaling generative AI-powered applications.

N-iX helped the client design their enterprise architecture. To ensure the most effective outcome, we unified the tech stack for all applications, the approach to data modeling and processing, and the logic of building application functionality. We also set up architecture governance to guarantee that the designed architecture matches the client’s primary business objectives. This included the processes, guidelines, principles, and decision-making structures for effective management of architecture development, implementation, and maintenance.

We then proceeded to the development of a unified application ecosystem. It encompasses all aspects of the company’s operations, from employee recruiting and training to vehicle routing and telematics, dispatching, maintenance, passenger transportation, etc., providing a complete 360-degree real-time view of each trip.

In the scope of development, N-iX engineers implemented eight robust solutions based on the most modern technology stack that are highly scalable, flexible, and easy to customize and maintain. These included a passenger transportation management system, various solutions for drivers to facilitate trips and pre-trip preparations, solutions for parents for more convenient trip monitoring, and more.

We also helped ensure the high quality, accuracy, and consistency of data from multiple sources by setting up a shared data storage, building a data platform that serves as a single source of truth, and setting up data governance.

In addition, our engineers assessed the client’s resources that were located on several cloud platforms and designed a comprehensive migration strategy to move to a single cloud. We chose AWS due to its capability to provide a highly scalable environment that can be easily adjusted to meet changing workload requirements and smoothly manage high volumes of data.

Finally, we helped the client design and build an AI-powered reporting assistant hosted on AWS. It allows their employees to seamlessly interact with the database using human language, streamlining report generation and enabling effective data-driven decision-making.
