Our client provides end-to-end claims management services for industry leaders in a wide range of domains, including insurance, housing, car manufacturing, and more.
The client wanted to facilitate the expansion of their services for car insurance claims handling to the US market. To achieve this, they aimed to enhance the functionality of the existing claim management platform with new fleet accident and claim management capabilities.
N-iX helped the client develop the new fleet accident and claim management functionality. It streamlines the process of handling insurance claims for the client’s fleet operators, allowing them to easily find available car repair shops within the suppliers’ network, view car part availability, and more. We developed several new workflows, such as processing the first notice of loss, claim creation, and the main page for fleet accident management. Our engineers also implemented several configurations to easily set up supplier rules, flows, and forms according to customer needs.
Additionally, N-iX helped the client migrate the custom graph database to MS SQL. This facilitated data processing, improved database performance, and enabled further development of several important data-related features for fleet accident management.
We also helped the client modernize their tech stack. In particular, we migrated from Angular 13 to Angular 18 by refactoring components and updating unit and integration tests.
Finally, our experts helped the client simplify AQA test cases by splitting them by service/function and moving away from configurations. This, in turn, accelerated the execution of the test suite.
By partnering with N-iX, the client was able to introduce multiple improvements to their claim management platform. This, in turn, allowed them to benefit in several important ways:
- Facilitated the expansion to the US market and attracted new customers with the new fleet accident and claim management functionality;
- Enhanced the security and accelerated further development of the claim management platform by modernizing its technology stack;
- Improved operational efficiency by migrating the database to MS SQL which streamlined data processing.
