Our client is a globally renowned technology company providing a creative platform for buying and selling premium editorial and media assets, including music, images, videos, and customized brand-specific content.
The client aimed to make data storage and processing faster and more cost-effective by migrating their on-premises SQL servers to the cloud. They also wanted to modernize their legacy CI/CD pipeline to accelerate their software development release lifecycle.
N-iX helped the client migrate data from an on-premises SQL server to the cloud-based Data Build Tool (dbt) and Snowflake. This significantly reduced the data processing time and made the maintenance of large datasets much easier.
We also migrated the client’s SSRS reports from the on-premises server to Looker. This Google Cloud-based business intelligence and data analytics platform provides an excellent user interface, a broad range of customization options, and advanced report visualization capabilities. Furthermore, our specialists created, upgraded, and optimized over 70 new reports for the client’s financial, sales, and marketing departments, as well as some that could be used by their customers.
Finally, our engineers helped the client migrate their CI/CD pipeline from Jenkins to GitHub Actions, improving the quality of data deployed into production.
